Job Purpose & Responsibilities
The Legal Administrator is a professional and excellent in management, organizational and administrative support. She is a real team player. She understands the organization and relationships and knows what is relevant and how to set priorities. She is pro-active, anticipating, self-propelling and is able to act independently when necessary. She likes to work with and for a team and is also able to work for several managers.
Provide administrative support to a team of legal counsels and a records manager and officer. Complete legal administrative tasks delegated to them by legal counsels and paralegal assistant such as preparing legal documents.
Organizational Support: Managing of electronic calendar and organizing, monitoring appointments, meetings and conference calls. Booking business trips. Organizing business lunches or dinners. Organizing internal and external events.
Administrative Support: Maintaining departmental environment in digital filing system (Livelink/Content Server). Maintaining online SABIC Europe contract data base with metadata. Support corporate housekeeping activities. Keeping up financial and staff administration, sickness and leave days, staff administration directories (addresses and relations). Establishing travel claims and purchasing orders.
Communication: Picking up and select calls. Assessing kind, purpose and importance of the call, delegating and independently settlement of the call. Judge if it is necessary to put through the call.
¿ Excellent administrative education and proven administrative experience, preferably as legal administrator or legal secretary.
¿ Affinity and acquaintance with Legal issues; have good understanding of legal terminology
¿ Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
¿ Easy personality with above average communication skills and able to work with different functional disciplines and hierarchical levels
