Finally! Ten years after the last edition, the Floriade is about to start! With ‘Growing Green Cities’ as the
theme, visitors will be pulled in to the durable future of our cities. To make sure the visitors have a
delicious meal while they are visiting the Floriade, we are in need of people who are willing to make this
happen! Interested? Join our kitchen staff as a kitchen assistant at the Floriade in Almere!

who you are

You have some experience working in kitchens or catering, and like to work with food. Further:

• Hygiene is your top priority while working.
• You are available to work from the 14th of April and are willing to work at least 3 days a week and weekends
• You can work from 09:00 till 19:00, and can work slightly longer in the summer
• You speak English fluently

what will you do

As a kitchen assistant at the Floriade, a whole new world will open up to you! Under the motto off ‘Feeding the City’ you’ll be supporting the kitchen staff with light work like preparing lunch dishes, pressing fruit or cutting vegetables. As a kitchen assistant you are invaluable when it comes to putting the durable themes of the Floriade into practice. You’ll be working with amazing and wholesome ingredients which form the base of a different variety of delicious meals!
In addition, you’ll make sure the hygiene in the kitchen is up to our standards, but that’s needless to say of course ;).

where will you work

As a kitchen assistant you’ll be working at the Floriade Expo 2022 in Almere! It’s a flourishing event that takes place every ten years, bringing together the world’s most distinctive and advanced gardeners to stimulate the senses of over 2 million visitors! This year, the theme ‘’Growing Green Cities’’ offers a look into the future of the sustainability, beauty and experience of our cities. An internationally leading event in our own beautiful country of the Netherlands!
