who you are

• You are in possession of a valid CE drivers license, Code 95 and digital tachograph card;
• your English is fluent;
• you have at least one year of experience driving a trailer;
• you are available every Friday, and a minimum of 2 Saturdays every month;
• your physical health is in good shape; you'll need to load and unload the truck yourself.

what will you do

You start your day as a truck driver usually in the early hours, between 04.00 and 07.00. As a truck driver you will ensure that the stores of the Jumbo are supplied. The great thing about this job is that you are not the only one being flexible, but you will be working for a client who is also flexible. Do you prefer to start in the afternoon? No problem at all. You can never work on Tuesday, but always on Saturday? Just let us know. There are several possibilities to discuss, and we will think along with you.
Your day never starts without a nice cup of coffee. You have experience on the trailer, and you know how to load and unload. This comes in handy, because you load and unload a lot of roll containers during the day. You will make 2 or 3 trips per day, and you will be in different places. This can be in a suburb, but also in the city center. Maneuvering is a piece of cake for you, so no worries here. The early shifts last 8 to 9 hours, so you really have some spare time the rest of your day. Towards the weekend it gets busier, and you'll be on the road a little longer. If you work overtime, you will of course be paid well. Also in the very early and late hours you get an allowance. Nice, right?

You will of course start via Tempo Team Transport. For you, this means a secondment contract from day 1. That means a salary every week that is correct, so you don't need to worry about that. You will also receive annual refresher training for your Code 95, and there are of course many other options open to discussion in terms of training.
