who you are

As a production employee in the distribution department, it is no problem for you to work on Fridays and Saturdays. In addition, it is also important you:

• Have at least 1 year of recent work experience as an production employee where you have performed physically demanding work. Lifting crates of bread is quite a sport ;).
• Own transport such as car or scooter. Because you have finished working at night, you can no longer go home by public transport.
• Flexible is a word that fits you perfectly. Sometimes afternoon shift, sometimes evening. We have the following shifts for a minimum of 4 days a week: 11.30am - 7pm, 6pm - 2am and 7pm - 3am.

what will you do

After internal training, you will start working as a production employee in the distribution department. You read the orders via a computer. You look closely at how many loaves of which type of bread have to go to the supermarket. You first look at how many carts with bread have to be sent to which branch. You then prepare these carts with bread for shipment so that they can be loaded for the freight. It is important that you know the different types of bread and that you can quickly switch between the different activities.

where will you work

As a production employee you will soon be working close to the center of Rotterdam. This is where Borgesius is. They deliver an average of 800,000 bakery products to various supermarkets every day. Chances are you ate something made here!
