who you are
As an orderpicker we expect you to be available full time. Experience is nice, but not necessary. In addition, we assume that you:
- Are physically okay to walk and stand all day.
- Are flexible to work in different departments.
- Have your own transport to go to Martens. So easy!
what will you do
Your alarm goes off early, but you don’t mind! As an orderpicker you go to your work with great enthusiasm. So you are on time at work and can have a cup of coffee before your working day starts! Your working day starts at 07:00 a.m and will end at 03:45 p.m. First you grab a cart. So, this one is yours for the whole day! You put on your headset, log in to the system and take the first order form.
The voice picking system tells you where you need to go! You go to the right location and pick the products. It can be anything! From connectors to paint cans. Once you have arrived at the exact location, you name the control number. You put the products in your cart and go to the next location. Alright, is your order complete? Then you put the products in the correct location. Yes, they're ready to be prepared for shipment! Thanks to you, of course.
where will you work
You have probably already seen a location of Martens. There are several locations in Oosterhout (Noord-Brabant). Martens is a leading producer of pipes (sewer, water etc.) in concrete and plastic. As an order picker you will work at Martens Logistics. Hardware stores all over the Netherlands get supplied with their stock from the logistics center. As an orderpicker you will work in a nice team with a great working atmosphere. You can sing along to the latest songs while order picking. The radio is always on!
