who you are

Are you the motivated and experienced production employee we are looking for?

  • Available in two shifts 7.00 - 16.00 and 15:00 - 23:00
  • Available wednesday till friday
  • Physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Concentrating and working accurately

what will you do

Every year in Europe, approximately 300 million male chicks are killed because they do not lay eggs, grow more slowly and have less meat.

Seleggt tests the gender of the eggs. After 9 days of incubation, a tiny hole is lasered into each hatching egg. From that hole comes a drop of liquid. In it, they see whether female hormones are present in the egg. On this basis, you sort out the eggs. Because you really like tackling things and have a nice work pace, you are quickly trained and can quickly check the eggs. You contribute to a more animal-friendly egg production. Together with colleagues, the day passes by quickly and your pedometer is working overtime! You examine the eggs in four steps and put your analysis into the system. Concentrating and working accurately is a piece of cake for you!
