who you are

Analytical, a true detective and a numerical hero! You get excited when you see spreadsheets and you enjoy taking your time to get to the core of an issue. You like to work in a dynamic environment and working together/communicating with colleagues from other departments is great fun!

  • MBO+ / bachelor work and thinking level
  • Fluency in written as well as spoken English, knowledge of any other languages is a welcome addition
  • Proven experience as an inventory controller in logistics is a great advantage

what will you do

In a large, international organization you will be responsible for the inventory control of the warehouse. It is your job to signal and analyze discrepancies in the system, which means you spend the majority of your time at the desk located at the Warehouse: at the heart of the warehouse!

Using all data and analytical tools you have, you will be looking for the cause of anything which influences the stock negatively. Did you find the root cause of a problem? Time for action! You will initiate the actions to correct the issues and make sure the inventory checks out again. On top of that you participate in the cycle counts; thanks to you these run timely and accurately.
Ideas to improve stock accuracy? You got this! an accurate inventory results into a better warehouse performance and happy customer.
