It’s possible as an assembly worker at Fokker Elmo in Hoogerheide and later this year in Papendrecht!

who you are

As an assembly worker you know how to work really precisely! Makes it a bit easier, since you’re working with wiring harnesses in all sizes! And also:

• You can work 32 or 40 hours per week.
• You are fluent in talking and reading English.
• You’re available to work in Papendrecht, later this year Fokker Elmo will move to Papendrecht.

what will you do

At Fokker Elmo you’ll be working as an assembly worker. Together with your team you’re working on cabling for the aircraft industry. These wiring harnesses consist of different kinds of cables: big ones, small ones. Red, green, blue! You name it. All of these you’ll fuse together really precisely into one big wiring harness. You’ll do this with English work instructions and directions. So it’s kind of like a big do-it-yourself kit! ;) First you’ll get a training of 1,5 week and after that you’ll work in your team. Together with a work buddy that can help you settle in. Well, that’s a great way to start your new job as an assembly worker, right!

where will you work

You might already know the name Fokker! Anthony Fokker built his first airplane in the year 1910. This was the first airplane that had ever flown around in the Netherlands. That’s a great piece of history, right? And how awesome is it to work as an assembly worker in a company with such a great past (and future)! What else makes this a great place to work? Well definitely the colleagues. Everyone is from around Hoogerheide and knows each other! You’ll always have a good time in the canteen. Speaking of the canteen… Here you get the greatest sandwiches and hot meals! Sounds like the absolute perfect work environment, doesn’t it!

• The intake procedure consists of a phone interview, some tests and also a personal interview.
