who you are

The BACU Bakery in Almere-Buiten is looking for enthusiastic, full-time production workers! You will be helping them assemble and decorate various types of cakes, pies and other desserts. Are you someone that enjoys working with their hands and loves working in a great team? Then BACU Bakery has the perfect opportunity for you!

• As a production worker you know high quality and working fast is important
• You are a team player who enjoys learning from the people around you
• Do you have any experience as a baker or a production worker? BACU Bakery would be extra happy to have you!
• You are flexible and able to work from Monday to Friday: 07:00-16:30 and/or 07:45-17:00

what will you do

Making sure every birthday has it's cake! That's what the BACU values most! The training you'll receive will fully prepare you for this. Together with your colleagues you'll make sure that the trucks are fully loaded with delicious baked goods every day. That way they show up the next day in the displays of some of the most well-known Dutch companies.
Fun fact: did you know BACU supplies baked goods for HEMA as well as Jumbo!

• You'll be decorating cakes on an assembly line
• You'll be bagging almond bars and other pastries
• You're in charge of maintaining a clean working environment. This includes your workplace, but also the baking sheets used to bake BACU's cakes

Everyone in the Almere region knows of the BACU bakery, and that's no coincidence. BACU has been around ever since 1903! Ever since then its grown to be largest, most modern bakery in Holland. Sounds interesting right?

BACU is also quite a large company, currently employing over 900 people! A diverse team of people from all walks of life. The one thing they have in common is their passion for baking! Don't worry though, you're not expected to know everyone by name.
