Experience in logistics is a plus, but even better is a high dose of motivation! As dock worker you have no problems speaking to drivers. Because you will be the first contact person for drivers. furthermore it is important that you:
As a dock worker you will have a great sense of responsibility. In this department all the goods come in. The trucks report at the dock to load and unload. You help them with loading and unloading. You are in the lead to manage this. You speak to the drivers and check the lists. You make sure the orders are put away properly and safely at the dock. Preferably with a reach truck. If you don't have this certificate yet, don't worry! They are also working with an EPT. We will make sure you will have a forklift -and reach truck certificate in no time! You can always ask your colleagues for help. You make sure the order pickers are on their way to bring the good to the right place.
