As a Customs Clerk, you'll be responsible for accurately preparing and processing customs documentation for import and export. You'll ensure compliance with national and international regulations.

• Accuracy and strong organizational skills;
• You have (some) experience with import and export documents.
• Good communication skills, both internally and externally;
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

what will you do

You will support the activities of approximately 11 colleagues in the warehouse and ensure the proper storage, processing, and administration of goods under customs supervision. Your duties will include:

• Preparing and reviewing customs documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
• Submitting import and export declarations through customs portals and liaising with Dutch Customs
• Monitoring compliance with customs legislation, Incoterms, and international trade regulations
• Liaising with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal departments to ensure timely release and delivery;
• Archiving all customs documentation for audits and compliance;
• Contributing to reports on customs activities and inventory;
• Identifying and resolving documentation or customs issues.
