As an on-call Retail Assistant, you are the flexible force ready to cover open shifts in a modern recycling shop. In this talent pool setup, you will help make recycling easy, fun, and rewarding for the entire city of Rotterdam. We are looking for enthusiastic go-getters we can call as soon as new shifts open up in the schedule. Talk about flexibility! Are you ready for a flexible challenge? Together with an enthusiastic and dedicated team, you will ensure that local residents can smoothly drop off their recyclables (such as plastics, e-waste, deposit bottles, and textiles) and make sure they leave the shop with a great feeling! 🌍✨

You are an enthusiastic and friendly person who loves to roll up their sleeves and get to work. As a Store Assistant, you enjoy interacting with people and always help visitors with plenty of patience and understanding. Even when things get a bit busy, you stay wonderfully calm and positive. You take pride in working accurately and enjoy being part of a team where everyone can be themselves and colleagues are always ready to help one another. 🤝

• You have flexible availability on an on-call basis (including weekends)

what will you do

As a Store Assistant, you will have a highly varied and active job. You welcome local residents with a big smile at the drop-off points. Here, you will help them hand in their recyclable items, such as old clothing, electronics, or deposit-return bottles. You will also assist visitors who pop in to pick up or drop off a parcel. Meanwhile, together with your colleagues, you make sure the store looks tidy and that everything runs safely and according to the guidelines. 📦 Thanks to your flexible support, the store runs like clockwork and together we are making waste a thing of the past! ✅
