As an order picker, you’ll navigate the warehouse on an electric pallet truck (EPT). You can load up to five pallets onto your EPT, filling them with all sorts of food items—from boxes of bananas to onions. You’ll come across a huge variety of products! Thanks to the order-picking system, you’ll know exactly where to go and which items to collect, allowing you to gather all the orders at a fast pace. You’ll also get to flex your muscles from time to time—it’s like getting a workout in while you work! Pretty ideal, right?! You need to know that the temperature there is 2 degrees,so be prepared for that !
Working at an Albert Heijn distribution center means working in one of the largest warehouses in the Netherlands! The facility is known for its state-of-the-art systems and technology—so, no dull moments here! You’ll also be working alongside great colleagues in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The Albert Heijn distribution center is open seven days a week, with operations continuing right through the weekend. Plus, you can earn extra with shift premiums that go as high as 100%—a fantastic way to boost your earnings!
