In this role, you will ensure the factory runs smoothly by performing repairs, solving technical issues, and helping improve our machines.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary (up to €4,060), a 15% shift allowance, and 33 days of holiday per year.

who you are

For this role in Sas van Gent, we are looking for a practical and motivated technician who meets the following criteria:

• Education: You have an MBO level 4 (or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma) in a technical field. 🎓
• E&I Expertise: Your main background and experience are in Electrical & Instrumentation.  💡
• Certifications: You hold at least a NEN3140 VP certificate. 📄
• Technical Skills: You are experienced in analyzing, configuring, and calibrating electrical systems, sensors, and transmitters.  👨‍🔧
• Industry Experience: You have experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in the food industry.  ⚠️
• Food Safety: You have experience with HACCP and an affinity for food technology.🍽️
• Computer Skills: You are comfortable using CMMS systems and programs like Excel and Word for reporting. ⚙️
• Flexibility: You are willing and able to work in a 2-shift pattern (06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00). ⏰

what will you do

Here is a simplified overview of what you will be doing in this role at the plant in Sas van Gent:

• Daily Maintenance: You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to keep the plant and equipment running smoothly. 🛠️
• Problem Solving: You will analyze, investigate, and calibrate various electrical systems, sensors, and transmitters 🚨
• Process Improvement: You will identify creative ways to reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve machinery efficiency. 🚀
• Project Support: You will provide technical support for improvement projects and assist with the commissioning of new mechanical and E&I systems ✍️
• Safety & Preparation: You will prepare work permits, discuss LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out) procedures, and ensure a clean, hazard-free working environment 🦺
• Reporting: You will accurately use the CMMS system and produce reports using Word and Excel 💻
• Teamwork: You will collaborate with operations staff and assist in managing external contractors on-site 🤝
