what will you do
In this role, you are the key person on the Inbound department. You support the team leader and when they are away, you confidently take over! And your day is also very diverse! For about 50% of your time (around 20 hours a week), you help out on the floor. The other half of your time, you are busy coordinating, guiding, and organizing.
Your daily to-do list looks like this:
- You are the main point of contact for the warehouse operators. You train new colleagues, motivate the team, and create an environment focused on learning and safety.
- Just like the troubleshooters, you spot errors in the logistics process. You solve problems quickly and set the right priorities to meet all deadlines.
- You communicate smoothly with office staff, other operation teams and transport planning (about inbound delivery planning). You also provide the correct data to your team leader or supervisor.
- You take care of scanner registrations, check and refill supplies, and make sure everyone works in a safe and clean environment.
