who you are

You prefer being on your feet over sitting at a desk. Because this is a heavy technical job, you need to be physically fit. You enjoy working in a team and can easily keep up with a steady pace.

• Fluent in English, reliable, and easy to reach.
• Physically fit: Comfortable standing all day.
• Experienced: You know what heavy assembly is.
• Stress-resistant: You can handle strict takt times.
• Flexible: Willing to work in 2 shifts (07:00 - 15:30 and 15:30 - 00:00).

what will you do

As an assembly worker, you are a key part of the production line. You'll start with a fully paid training period so you know exactly what to do. After that, you will join a fixed team of 15 to 20 colleagues. You will rotate between different workstations, which means your tasks will become more varied as you learn more.
It is good to know that this is a very active job. You are standing all day and often leaning over the truck chassis. The belt keeps moving, meaning you and your team have about 4 minutes to finish your tasks for each truck. It is physical work, but the steady pace means the day flies by.
You will work 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break and a 15-minute paid break.

Do you work overtime? That pays well:

• After 8 hours, you get a 23.2% bonus for the first two hours
• 37.6% after that
• 65% on Saturdays
• and 84% on Sundays.

where will you work

Welcome to DAF Trucks in Eindhoven! You will work at a facility that receives cabins and axles directly from Belgium to produce a massive 240 trucks every single day. The Paccar Distribution Center (PDC) uses highly advanced logistics systems like voice-activated picking and assembly.
Your journey starts smoothly:
Day 1 is all about introductions, receiving your company workwear, and getting your BSN sorted.
On Day 2, the real action starts with your DAF training on the floor.
