As an on-call store assistant, you are the flexible team member ready to step in and cover open shifts in our recycling shop. As part of this staffing pool, you will help make recycling easy, fun, and rewarding for all of Rotterdam! For this coming weekend, we are looking for immediate support on Friday, July 25 (10:45 – 19:15), Saturday, July 26 (09:45 – 17:15), and Sunday, July 27 (09:45 – 17:15). Left wanting more after this weekend? Then you can remain in our pool to take on these types of open shifts more often!

Together with an enthusiastic and dedicated team, you will ensure that local residents can smoothly hand in their recyclables (such as plastics, e-waste, deposit-return items, and textiles) and make sure they leave the store with a great feeling! 🌍✨

who you are

You are an enthusiastic and friendly person who loves to roll up their sleeves and get to work. As a Store Assistant, you enjoy interacting with people and always help visitors with plenty of patience and understanding. Even when things get a bit busy, you stay wonderfully calm and positive. You take pride in working accurately and enjoy being part of a team where everyone can be themselves and colleagues are always ready to help one another. 🤝

• You speak either Dutch or English, or both!
• You are physically fit to stand, walk, and lift packages
• You have flexible availability on an on-call basis (including weekends)
• You live in Rotterdam

what will you do

As a Store Assistant, you will have a highly varied and active job. You welcome local residents with a big smile at the drop-off points. Here, you will help them hand in their recyclable items, such as old clothing, electronics, or deposit-return bottles. You will also assist visitors who pop in to pick up or drop off a parcel. Meanwhile, together with your colleagues, you make sure the store looks tidy and that everything runs safely and according to the guidelines. 📦 Thanks to your flexible support, the store runs like clockwork and together we are making waste a thing of the past! ✅
