You have completed your training in Sheet Metal and would now like to take a step in your career. Top!

Furthermore:

  • Are you fluent in the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;
  • Do you have an affinity with technology;
  • You are a go-getter and motivated to work hard;

  • You can work well in a team;
  • You are available full time to work 2 shifts. (Working hours: Monday through Thursday 05.45-14.45 and Friday 05.45 - 12.00. Late shift is Monday-Thursday 14.45 - 23.45 and Friday 12.00 - 18.15).

what will you do

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will work with complex sheet metal products. You know how to process, shape and join them. You work with sheet metal, metal and plastics. In addition, you know how the various machines work. Your junior colleagues come to you with questions.

Furthermore:

  • Do you prepare sheet metal work;
  • Perform sheet metal work;
  • Do you complete sheet metal work;
  • You prepare your own work;
  • You set up the machine and tools properly;
  • You process and shape the materials;
  • You measure and check the finished products.

where will you work

At VDL VDS Technische Industrie, everyone works with passion on high-quality automotive industry parts. They are proud of their role in manufacturing windshield wiper arms and car seat parts, among others. VDL VDS parts can also be found in trucks and trailers, from cab to trailer chassis. VDL VDS really is everywhere!

VDL VDS works closely with VDL Tool Shop, which provides essential tools and production jigs.

  • Working hours 2 shifts: Monday-Thursday 05.45-14.45 and Friday 05.45 - 12.00. Late shift is Monday-Thursday 14.45 - 23.45 and Friday 12.00 - 18.15.
